Ramble on.

Stay connected for news and updates

Before anyone waste anytime reading this, I must warn you it deals mainly with the frustrated ramblings of another week of missed opportunities.

Maybe by posting my mistakes, others, mostly new players like myself, will be able to avoid MY most common and costly mistake of them all....OVER REACTING!

The way this generally happens is, I am uncertain with at least 3-4 players on my finalized team of the week. Then the week begins and not only to my "uncertain" players under perform but my main "discounted" players follow with an equally poor performance. I begin to over think and then...over react.

I begin to drop players as I panic shop during the brief barn door time. Even if a player did well for me this week , during this over reacting time he is fair game while I am in search of that new line up that will be the envy of all.

Here is an example. I had Krul @3.16 but I needed just a couple extra points to get those "new" players I had to have.

So, drop Krul and get Robinson @1.20.. PLUS drop Adebayor to make room for Welbeck who is one of those new players I had to have. The madness then completes itself as I click SAVE in order to preserve my choices. The rest of the "shuffle" is just to long to continue, but the end result is.....

My goal tender is now Kenny @1.67, and I also no longer have Welbeck!

If there is a lesson in this I believe it to be...learn to take your lumps. Bad weeks happen. Focus as much on what you DO HAVE as what you don't, and NEVER open a barn door when your pissed!
