As I scramble for answers on my continued downward spiral I have, all of a sudden, been faced with a very interesting question. What do I do about Untied strikers?

With the help of the weekly post by Billthegrunt, (excellent work every week), I noticed that going into this week that those in the top 50 who kept the faith were few and far between. The final results were,

Those who held Rooney =6/50

Those who held RVP=9/50

Now, the observation and the burning question:

Since the majority did not hold and both did very well AND those who had this weeks best scores are the ones who held one or both, will there be a major jump back to one or both despite the bad match up this coming week?

Was this a now or never situation? RVP may have had the smallest increase between the two but an average to above average score this week could put both out of reach for many managers. Are either of these two players essential to your line up going forward?

Did you grab either despite the poor match up?

Can we keep pace going forward with

(1) Having neither in our line ups?

(2) Paying retail going forward if both have another good week?

What do you think happened on this weeks barn door regarding these two (key) players?
