Today is the first day of the rest of the season.
That's always the case for those of us 12-steppers (fantasy sports-aholics?) but with the transfer window shutting last night - here's Neal's Transfer Window Winners & Losers - these are the teams we'll be with for the rest of the season. So the season starts today, and I for one could use a little help from the likes of Robin van Persie and Stephane Sessegnon.

Would the game be better served by having two referees? They clearly can’t keep up with the action any longer and the assistants along the touch lines are too far away. Hoillet with a dive, Davies with a dive…both resulted in completely ridiculous YCs for clean challenges.

…FA licensed or FIFA licensed? What I mean is, who would make the second ref decision? If it’s FIFA, then they would have to provide a second ref for every match in the world, right? Not really possible, I imagine.
But, if the FA could do it just in the UK, it would be more feasible.

Got 96.5p myself, with Welbeck rested and Zamora (my 2 strikers) not playing…. so quite happy. Swapped HBA to Campbell on the BD, will leave team intact otherwise probably if no injuries occur.

104 points this week. Not bad I would say although I almost, ALMOST had campbell in my team before I moved him to Ameobi thinking it just might pay off. That would have been so much better.
But oh well I will gladly take the 104 points. Now sitting comfortably at 2181, and moving up!

Anybody go with Kenny? BD’d him for Krul going forward thinking Taiwo and Onuoha would tighten the defense up a bit. Decent set of fixtures ahead for QPR as well.

That sucks. All my ‘season-long keepers’ are fading fast. Still have Aguero at 6.52, but even at that low price, he’s only made back his price 2 times in the last 9 weeks. Is it time to drop him, or hold on a bit longer?
Could drop him for QPR’s Cisse, or replace Bellamy, who has been great the last few weeks. I know Suarez is coming back, but Carroll is awful, can’t imagine Bellamy being the one benched?
