Unfortunately this week is insane, so I won't have time to run the numbers for a normal score prediction post. But I don't want to abandon my charge completely, so here's an abridged version of the post. This won't take into account the goals from this week (though this far into the season the numbers wouldn't change all that much regardless). See below the jump for the results. I'm hoping to make this week the only exception.

I'm leaving out the games that don't have big numbers, focusing on the ones I would normally bold. As always, the numbers in parentheses denote how the predicted score differs from the team's average. I bold the stand-out teams, but be sure to take note of which number is bolded, as that changes the interpretation.

West Brom 2.25 (+0.97) -v- Blackburn 1.24 (-0.25)

Chelsea 2.54 (+0.90) -v- Wigan 0.69 (-0.29)

Stoke 1.80 (+0.82) -v- Wolves 0.82 (-0.25)

Man United 3.80 (+1.36) -v- QPR 0.64 (-0.46)

Also of note, Liverpool are expected to give up only 0.64 on average to Villa, so that could be a good defensive choice. Sorry again for the abbreviated post.. I'll be back full time next week!
