Arsenal's draw with Norwich today means that even if the Gunners win their remaining game, if Tottenham and Newcastle win their remaining 2 games, or if one of them does and Chelsea win the Champions League final, Arsenal will not qualify for Champions League football next season.
Failure to qualify for a CL berth would compound the pain of failing to collect any sort of silverware in many years. Would this be the final straw that might convince Van Persie to leave for greener pastures?
