Didier Drogba and Petr Cech are out of Chelsea’s Barclays Premier League clash with Liverpool as Roberto Di Matteo clings on to the dream of finishing fourth.

The pair, who were outstanding in Saturday’s FA Cup final triumph at Wembley over Kenny Dalglish’s side, have been rested by Chelsea’s interim manager.
