Our apologies for yesterday. It was my plan to put up a separate post for everyone to chat on but I got caught in a meeting that went long and didn't get back to my desk until about 30 minutes into the match. At that point, I figured everyone had found a happy spot to chat. Throw in my misery over Loew's line-up choices (mostly Gomez) and the fact that Schweinsteiger picked the match I brought him in over Ozil to disappear and Ozil decided that this was his turn to play to his talent.

Here's hoping that the choices from Spain and France today are a bit more conventional. That said, I was sufficiently unimpressed with both teams in the group stages that I am not particularly invested in either. I am on Iker Casillas and Jordi Alba from Spain but no one from France and none of Spain's attackers.
