West Bromwich Albion have sealed the permanent signing of goalkeeper Ben Foster from Birmingham City.

The 29-year-old, who spent last season on loan at the Baggies, has signed a three-year deal with an option for the club to extend it for a further two years.

Foster made 37 Barclays Premier League appearances as Albion finished 10th in the table and new manager Steve Clarke was delighted to have secured his first signing since taking over from the departed Roy Hodgson as boss.
