Welcome back for the new season. I thought I'd take a little count of hands on my previous score predictions column. I'll be doing the same calculations this year for my own purposes, but I thought I'd see how many people actually use the numbers in selecting their fantasy teams. If people do make use of them I'm happy to continue posting them, though I'm considering a slightly abbreviated version that would be much quicker to type out. Please let me know how you feel, and please be honest if you won't really use the results. My feelings won't be hurt! See below the jump for what the abbreviated version would look like.

The abbreviated version would depart from the X v Y format and simply list the most promising attacking teams in order (perhaps divided between home and away) and their predicted points. Probably wouldn't include defense, as clean sheets are very hard to predict.
