Kevin De Bruyne has today completed a season-long loan to German side Werder Bremen.

The 21-year-old, a January signing from Genk in his native Belgium, linked up with the Chelsea squad for the first time this summer after being loaned back to his former club for the latter half of last season, and made his debut in a 4-2 friendly victory over Seattle Sounders.

The winger will now continue his development in the Bundesliga, where he could expect to replace fellow new Chelsea recruit Marko Marin in the Bremen side.
