As many of you will already know, I’m trying a little experiment to see if I can at least keep up with an imaginary team created by my “wife” on the last day of August this year. The concept is simple, I revise the team each week to show the optimum team that was able to be chosen on that day. Keeping up with this team is obviously very difficult but my “wife’s” team has the disadvantage of not being able to include transfers made after the last date of August – No Michu or Cazorla for her then. Many of us have argued back and forth about the possibility of choosing a good team at the start of the season and just leaving it alone. Well we're going to find out if it's actually a good idea!

So, how many points do you have to look to get? Well the best possible team that you could have chosen before the season started and then just left alone would have managed to get you 362.5 points so far for an outlay of 98.58. You can find the actual team on my site I'm a winner

The surprise for me is that only 4 players were actually involved in the week one double games!
