Carlos Tévez

There has been discussion amongst some of us about the chances of Tévez this week. Some say he's a season keeper at his low price of 12, others say that with Mr Agüero back in contention, and with Carlos playing the full 90 midweek, Tévez could make way for his compatriot, or come off early in the game. With Agüero back and Balotelli and Dzeko to keep happy, surely Carlos will get the odd rest sooner or later anyway.

I'm of the opinion this season that 11 players each week is vital, and I don't want to have a striker slot with a big fat zero next to it because I took a risk.

Here are my thoughts...

Tévez has been excellent for City so far, and this is a BIG game for City, I'm starting to think it would be crazy for Mancini to rest him this week.

Nasri looks to be out with a hamstring injury, so there is another attacking spot open, I know Sinclair could fill this, but he's just a buy to start in the easy games isn't he?

Agüero is only just back in training from his knee injury so is a start in a tough game like this really going to happen with 3 other fully fit strikers ready and raring to go?

On the other hand...

Tévez has played many minutes, and as a lone striker against Real Madrid, and we know Mancini rests players and rotates occasionaly.

If Agüero was fit enough to be on the bench in the Madrid game, maybe he is fit enough to start against Arsenal.

Tévez fell foul of a bizare Mancini substitution at the weekend and came off after 60 minutes for Gareth Barry I believe, so Mancini is clearly capable of the unexplainable.

What are your thoughts? Keep him and hope for the best, or drop him for a striker more certain of 90 minutes playing time?
