Recipe for success ??

Clive Mason

After a terrible first half of the season I am trying to develop a plan that I can stick to to hopefully turn things around. Up to now I have been chopping and changing my team too much, and spent too many weeks points chasing. But my plan now (which I think many YFF players adopt) is to form a base of 6-7 "season keepers" who cost no more than 8 mil, leaving me 50 mil to spend on quality players that I will change each week based on matchups.

The problem is, I am finding it difficult to drop my expensive players that I hold at a decent discount eg Suarez / Walcott whose matchups aren't great.

Can anyone give me some advice on this. Is it just a case of being ruthless and dropping costly players (who have very good averages) because there are better cheaper options with better matchups and are available at a lower cost ? My current team is below (Should I sell Suarez / Walcott to bring in the likes of Rooney and the like ???)

Lloris (3.24)Bassong (3.68) Debuchy (3.25) Phil Jones (3.54) Cazorla (6.21) J Cole (3.99) Cabaye (9.40) Walcott (16.93) Fellaini (12.24) Podolski (10.04) Suarez (21.36)
