This is where the real season starts. None of this double week nonsense. There are some decent match-ups. The big one on Monday night but both managers' tendency would be to keep it tight in big games. Both teams are at their best going forward though so it's tough to call. United will win and RVP will score is my prediction so he's the only player I'm considering there. Everton, Norwich, City and Spurs are the main teams I'll be looking at. Though Stoke look good for a clean sheet and West Ham should get chances against a joke of a Newcastle team. Liverpool v Villa should have goals in it.
Begovic - One of the best keepers around. I don't know why he's still at Stoke. Great match-up.
Boruc - Cheap and against a Sunderland team that's going to badly struggle for goals.
Baines - Expensive but I'd be confident of him getting value here. Everton will dominate the game and he should get plenty of set pieces and chances to get forward.
Shaw - Not very cheap but again should get forward a lot and do well. Good CS chance.
Zabaleta - The most expensive City player which is madness but racks up the misc points and good CS chance. Any City defenders are a decent shout here.
Toure - Very cheap and should get value but I'm not expecting a clean sheet.
Shawcross - If you're not going with Begovic, he's the best Stoke defender to have.
Jenkinson - Will start and is pretty cheap if you think Arsenal will do well here.
Coutinho - Looks like he'll be a points machine this season and is a no brainer.
Silva/Navas - Silva is the better pick with Navas being a cheaper alternative. Both should do well.
Barkley - Has earned himself another start and is dirt cheap. Simples.
Pienaar - Should do well but most people will have Barkley and maybe Baines so no need for him.
Nolan - He'll always be a legend for his final day hat-trick last season. Against his old team. Newcastle are a shambles. I'm gonna try squeeze him in.
Joe Cole - He'll be popular after his goal but I'd rather Nolan.
Walcott - A flop last week. I'm slightly hesitant to drop him though. He could go big. Undecided.
Siggy - At home against his old team. Should be playing off Soldado again and he'll get chances. Price is right but if you have Soldado, there's probably no need for both.
RVP - He'll be top scorer again this year and he'll have to do it in the big games for United to win the league.
Soldado - Should at least get another goal this week.
Van Wolfswinkel - Should get plenty of chances against Hull. Cheap if you need fund elsewhere.
Lambert - Southampton spent a lot on Osvaldo but he's still the main man.
Benteke/Sturridge - I wouldn't back against either of them scoring in what should be an open game.
Aguero - Assuming he starts, he's a top pick for this week
