OB Blog's Week 24 Player Picks

Things are looking up at United with Mata in, RVP and Rooney back. Hopefully the fact I keep picking Utd players starts working for me. My fantasy season is falling apart. Captained Hazard for that coma-inducing Chelsea v West Ham match. I'm currently around 4,000th in the rankings. 2,500 places behind Nik Agirihippoppotamous so not going well. Hoping the blog gets me focused again and no more Anthony Pilkington type picks.

I usually pick players for the big matches and would have had Aguero but I'm avoiding everyone else in the Man City v Chelsea match. Newcastle v Sunderland should have goals. Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs should all have reasonably comfortable wins. I don't trust Everton with no Distin, Coleman or Lukaku and Villa look dangerous. Still no McGeady in the game by the way. Absolute joke. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should get his first Premiership win and Southampton should beat a shocking Fulham side.

David - Another win and clean sheet here I reckon. Hopefully a couple of saves too. Good value if barndoored.

Sczezsny - Win and clean sheet most probably yo.

Adrian - Only worth it if barndoored but decent chance of a very good score here.

Marshall - He's only €4 and should be low risk in this match.

The bleeding head on that fella.

P.Jones - Probably play midfield again and should pick up plenty of misc points and a possible clean sheet.

Debuchy - Keep at discount obv.

Bertrand - At least on your bench. Obv.

Baines - I don't expect a clean sheet but he can always go big

Gibbs - I'm guessing he comes back in for Monreal, who is shite. Very good value. Good idea to have an Arsenal def or Sczeszny.

Caulker - Low scores the last 3 weeks and expensive but could get back in the points this week. Money probably better spent elsewhere though. Catherine the Theophile could also do well and is less expensive.

Where is this man??

Ozil/Cazorla - Both should do very well here especially at discounts.

The Ox - A starting risk but I think he might start and will definitely be involved at some stage. He's on my bench at the moment.

AJ - I haven't got on this bandwagon and won't be at his. This match should have lots of goals and action in it though.

Lallana - Very consistent and always capable of a big score. Especially against Fulham.

Eriksen - Had been consistent until this week. Should return to solid points.

Ben Arfa - Almost definitely in my team at this price. Newcastle will be heavily relying on him.

Barkley/Pienaar - Both good prices and could be differentials.

Coutinho - Never does well when I have him but another good differential.

Suarez/Sturridge - Again it proved the right thing to captain Suarez. I think a lot of people will go with both. I don't see the point in Sturridge if I have Suarez. I hate them both anyway.

RVP - Should be even sharper after playing an hour and scoring on Tuesday and great price.

Giroud - He's not top class but at home against Palace he should score.

Benteke - He's back scoring goals and Everton don't look great at the back at the moment.

Mirallas - Lively against Liverpool and unlucky not to score. Villa are never great at the back.

Big AC - Will definitely outscore his value if you want to pack your team full of expensive mids.
