Kieran Gibbs has withdrawn from this week's England squad.
Arsenal defender Gibbs is out of the squad having suffered an injury in the Premier League match at West Ham United with Chelsea defender Bertrand added and Liverpool midfielder Shelvey promoted from the England Under-21 squad.
Left-back Gibbs was forced out of Arsenal's 3-1 win at West Ham United with a thigh strain.
Gibbs was taken off at West Ham ten minutes into the second half and was replaced by Andre Santos.
Gibbs has been having a great season for the Gunners, playing a very attacking role on the left. He's been in my fantasy team for the majority of the season so far, and I was hoping that he, along with Santi Cazorla, were going to be season keepers. Hopefully the international break provides enough time for him to get healthy, especially with Reading the next opponent. But I'm already dreading the "late fitness test".
