This is one of those seasons where I really wish I were one of those "neutrals" that the commentators are always referring to but who don't really seem to exist in real life. There are great stories throughout the table but unfortunately none of them currently involve the team I support. Hopefully, the team you support is faring somewhat better. Until Arsenal gets things turned around and inevitably finishes 4th or I adjust my expectations, I have my mediocre fantasy performance to keep me going. Oh wait, that's not really helping much either. OK, I propose a race between my fantasy team and Arsenal to see who can get back on track sooner. Where are you putting your money?
Neal's Yahoo.com team - Buroc, Cameron, Bassong, Bertrand, Cazorla, Michu, Valencia, Fellaini, Mirallas, Mata, Rooney
Neal's PL.com team - Cech, Rafael, Baines, Riise, Hazard (c), Michu, Nolan, Duff, Tevez, Holt, Defoe
We're getting to the part of the PL.com season where I really dislike the fact that you can't make many transfers. My early team was smoking hot but they've cooled almost across the board and playing a wild card or paying to make moves seems like a bad idea.
Looking ahead to next weekend, both Manchester teams and Fulham look like solid bets with Liverpool also a solid option. Those will be the main directions where the Barn Door will be focused as we head into the matches today.
