Sunday Live Chat: Manchester Edition

Hello friends! With the majority of the action taking place yesterday, we have two matches involving the champions of the last two Premier League seasons. Have you invested in players from either the red or blue half of Manchester? How many of you have opted for players from underdogs Tottenham or Cardiff? Let's get to chatting!

Posting a photo of my hunch pick sure worked a treat yesterday. Can Rafael make it two in two? I'd take an RVP goal, too.

What a day we had yesterday! The Merseyside Derby delivered yet again with an enthralling 3-3 that could have easily gone either way. I still believe Kevin Mirallas should have been shown a red card for his horrendous knee-high, studs-up challenge on Luis Suarez, but the match certainly wouldn't have been as entertaining if Everton had been reduced to 10 men in the first half. A draw was probably a fair result.

The rest of the matches produced an interesting mix of results and a distinct lack of points for many of the popular defensive choices that were made in Week 12. I have to admit that after seeing Suarez put up another 20 point performance and subsequently learning that my captain, Yohan Cabaye, left the field early with a hamstring complaint made me very nervous that I could be in for another poor week. Enter my hunch pick of the season, Super Frank Lampard who turned around my fortunes with a brace against his old side and a wonderful 34 point haul.

The lineups are in for the early match between Manchester City and Tottenham, with a straightforward lineup for City and a few surprises for Spurs:

Manchester City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Nastasic, Clichy, Navas, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, Negredo, Aguero

Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Sandro, Lennon, Holtby, Lamela, Soldado

I'm currently sitting on 114 points with Rafael and Van Persie to go today and Amalfitano tomorrow. How are you doing so far, and who do you have left to play? Good luck!
