EGYPT (Week 19) Player Picks

Just in the blink of an eye we are into week 19! It should be named (Rotation week) due to the enormous changes that will be made in all the lineups for this set of fixtures. You must deploy a different strategy for this week than any other week as most teams are playing 2 games in 2-3 days. This means the rotation risk is very high so here are my tips! Let's discuss!

Captain Me!
Captain Me!
Stu Forster

The perfect strategy for this week is to choose players that didn't play on Thursday. It may sound weird to have a line up full of second string names this week but this should be the strategy. I have been playing the game for sometime and this should be the week to put some few strange picks and here we go!

Strikers:

Dzeko : The Manchester CIty striker was rested on Thursday and with a home game against Crystal Palace Dzeko looks a real solid option this week. No need to worry about his starting place, he WILL start and you might give him the captain armband if you are brave enough.

Bony: Also got rested and facing against an inconsistent Aston Villa. He is also on PK duties so that is a big bonus as well.

Altidore: You got my idea now? Fletcher played 87 minutes on Thursday so Altidore will lead the line against a struggling Cardiff City.

Chicharito: He is due a start and he should lead the line against Norwich City.

Shane Long: We will get the lineup for this game so we will see if he starts against the woeful West ham defense.

Adebayor : How often do we pick players that just scored a couple of goals and then he have a very quiet game afterwards? I would have been recommending Defoe this week but he wasn't even on the bench for Boxing Day so it's quiet a worry. Therefore old blog favorite Ade and Soldado should be leading the line at the weekend.

Midfielders:

Walcott: He did the trick on Thursday by scoring two goals and he should be firing on all cylinders against Newcastle.

De Guzman: Another rested player taking kicks and should play in behind Bony against Aston Villa.

Barkley: Played only 45 minutes against Sunderland and was shooting from every possible angle and scoring a very fast 10 points! Will surely start this week.

Milner: Looks pretty weird for me to recommend James Milner but based on rotation he should start against Crystal Palace.

Paulinho: Back from suspension and is a definite starter against Stoke City.

Whittingham :Taking most of the set pieces and is the worth the shout for the home game against Sunderland.

Brunt/Sessengon: Both should get plenty of opportunities against the leaky West ham defense and you will see the line up as its the early kick off.

Defenders:

Clichy: The City left back was rested on Thursday and should play on Saturday against Crystal Palace.

Vidic : The big Serbian is back from Injury and should start against Norwich and there is a chance he can score with a header.

Dawson: Might be the week that finally Tottenham get a CS and he scores with a header..

Ivanovic : Liverpool are really miserable defending set pieces especially when you have Martin Skrtel marking you, so I really think Ivanovic will cause havoc for the Liverpool defense.

Chico: Just a different pick based on his percentage in starting this game. He got rested last game and should play against Aston Villa.

Kompany: One final though, there is a big possibility that Kompany won't start so just be careful regarding that and put a good bench as a back up.

Goalkeeper:

Hart : The obvious choice for the Clean Sheet this week.

Harper : He should be the Plan B back up if Hart didn't play for any reason or rotation. Harper has a good home game against Fulham so it's not a bad idea to put him.

Lloris : Another good candidate for the clean sheet this week and the price is good.

Joel Robles: If you want something different then the Everton keeper should be the one and his price @ 3 is not that bad.
