I hate Friday trading but I have to admit that I've been engaged in a great deal of it this week. I'm not incredibly confident in Wayne Rooney because a) he never does well for me when I pick him and b) I'm nervous about him being rotated. I also had to make some moves to make sure I wasn't left with Artur Boruc between the posts. Boruc was great for me last weekend but with Liverpool the opposition I don't see him repeating his feat this time around even if I had him for 1.00. What this all means right now is that I've traded Boruc, Carl Jenkinson, and Wayne Rooney for Rob Elliott, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, and Carlos Tevez. I'm at least a little worried about Tevez since he is listed on PhysioRoom.com as having a hamstring issue. He is expected back for tomorrow's match but expected doesn't necessarily equal WILL. I'll be monitoring the Twitter early to make sure Carlito is playing. If he is, I'll stick with it. If not, I'll move Oscar and Tevez to Ryan Giggs and Rooney.
Here's where I am right now:
Elliott, Yanga-Mbiwa, Marc Wilson, Nemanja Vidic, Santi Cazorla, Michu, Philippe Coutinho, Oscar, Daniel Sturridge, Luis Suarez, and Carlos Tevez
I'm already living in fear of what Giggs and Rooney will do if I don't pick them because Sir Alex, Rooney, and, really, all of Manchester United hate me. If I pick them they'll be rotated or do nothing. If I don't pick them, they'll go off (fill in your own Ryan Giggs joke here).
Heading into the next match week (which happens in two weekends) you should be loading up on Arsenal (vs. Reading) players and keeping your Chelsea (@ Southampton) and Liverpool (@Aston Villa) players and maybe even adding to them.
Let's chat.
