Jeremy and I were Tweeting Saturday afternoon and he reminded me of fantasy sports guru Matthew Berry's three rules for a good weekend: 1) your favorite team wins; 2) your fantasy team does well; and 3) your recommendations turn out well.
I bring it up because I'm most of the way there for the first time in a while. Arsenal won big (and even better Chelsea lost putting Arsenal that much closer to a Champions League spot). My recommendations - John Terry, Vincent Kompany, Mikel Arteta, and Olivier Giroud scored in addition to long trrm holds Santi Cazorla and Michu.
My fantasy team is most of the way to a good weekend with 88 points in the bag and Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, and Philippe Coutinho to go. I'm hoping this the beginning of me being back in the fantasy swing of things after 6 months of baby-induced haze. At least I hope my poor season has been baby-related.
Let's see how the Reds do coming off the whipping against Southampton.
