A lot of fantasy managers *cough*Nik*cough* are looking at Spurs' players against Wigan this weekend. They'll be buoyed by the news that Aaron Lennon is back in training.
Spurs given injury boost ahead of Wigan trip - Sport - London24
Aaron Lennon returned to training today, raising hopes that he will make his comeback from a knee injury in Tottenham’s game at Wigan on Saturday.
Lennon, a star performer for Spurs this season, hobbled off in the 2-2 home draw against Basle three weeks ago and has not played since.
The 26-year-old sat out last weekend’s 3-1 win over Manchester City after failing a fitness test, but he took part in training with the rest of the Tottenham squad today.
It's encouraging that he was so close to making the squad last weekend, just failing the dreaded late fitness test. I'm not sure he's value-for-money, but his presence does open up the pitch for others. Most notably Gareth Bale.
