Scott Sinclair Hospitalized with Blood Clot

Manchester City winger (no really, he is) Scott Sinclair was hospitalized over the weekend with a blood clot.

BBC Sport - Manchester City's Scott Sinclair in hospital with blood clot

Manchester City say that winger Scott Sinclair has suffered a blood clot in his shoulder and is having treatment in hospital.

The 24-year-old was taken ill during training on Friday and missed his side's goalless draw against former club Swansea on Saturday.

He's sure to miss their League match against West Brom tomorrow - a match in which he could have been otherwise expected to play. He may not be available for the FA Cup final either, but an appearance there was always going to be a long shot.

For concerned fantasy managers, this does make it more likely - combined with Yaya Toure's injury - that we see some "regulars" lining up in City's midfield tomorrow. Maybe Samir Nasri, who has been in good form recently, but whom City wouldn't rate as highly for the Final as a David Silva or Sergio Aguero.
