Aston Villa wont get a Clean Sheet in any of their two games so you might be abit careful if you wanna choose a Goalkeeper or a defender in your line up.
Goalkeeper:
Brad Guzan: Will start both games but its very hard to recommend him as the obvious choice will be Peter Cech.
Defenders:
Vlaar: The Big Dutch defender can get plenty of blocks and might get you a shot on target and he might get lucky and score a goal,he will surely play 180 minutes and he is a definite starter for both games.
Lowton : Scorer of a stunning goal last season @ Stoke, the right back loves getting forwards and can usually score good points even without a clean sheet,so if you would settle for a score of around 10-12 points in the double then Lowton can be a good option.
Luna : The new left back loves getting forward and supporting the attack, looks the favorite for the left back spot for Aston Villa this season,so i would expect him to start at least one of the two games.
Okore/Baker/Clark: Who will be Vlaar partner? i would say that Baker get the nod for the opening game and there might be a change for the second game,so i would simply stay away from all three.
Joe Bennett: The back up left back wont get alot of minutes after Luna arrival so i would stay away from him.
Midfielders:
Fabian Delph: Should start both games and loves to take the shot.
Karim El Ahmadi: The Defensive midfielder played most of the pre season friendlies and i expect him to start one of the games if not both.
Westwood : He was on set piece duties for most of last season,I would also expect him to start one of the games.
Tonev: The new Bulgarian looks like a promising hot prospect and was on set pieces duties in the friendly games, skillful and loves to take the shot,Maybe its bit early to consider him for this week but if you want to risk it then the obvious choice will be Tonev.
Forwards:
Benteke: The Belgium powerhouse is ready to be unleashed against Arsenal and Chelsea,On Penalty kick duties as well and guaranteed 180 minutes,I would definitely recommend him in your starting 11.
Weimann : Another guaranteed 180 minute player for Aston Villa,he loves taking the early shot and can provide an assist or two to Benteke,Currently in my team.
Agbonlahor: The speedy Englishmen will also play in both games and he was scoring goals for fun at the end of last season.
Cheers,
Mo
