There are some exciting fixtures coming up this week especially the Manchester derby but i will stay away from any fantasy players of that game.
For this week i would recommend that your team will be packed with Liverpool,Chelsea and Arsenal players as this should be the core of your team and maybe a couple of outsiders from the other games.
So lets get started.
Goal Keepers:
Peter Cech : I would say that it should be a routine Clean sheet for the Chelsea Keeper and most of us will have him in the team
Simon Mignolet: The clean sheet run was ended last week against Swansea and i would expect that he to resume his clean sheet duties this week against Southampton.
Tim Krul : If you wanna spend a bit low on your GK then Krul is your man.
Defenders:
John Terry: Rested in Chelsea shocking defeat against Basel but he should start against Fulham and there is every chance he will grab a header and kiss the badge afterwards.
Debuchy : Cracking form this year from the right back and hopefully it will continue this week as well.
Jose Enrique : The price might be a bit high but the left back love getting forward especially in home games and can be a really good pick this week.
Kieran Gibbs : Same like Enrique and he loves going forward and can score the odd goal from time to time.
I would really recommend to have your 3 defenders from Chelsea,Liverpool,Arsenal and Newcastle other than that it can be a bit risky to have a Clean sheet.
Midfielders:
Steven Gerrard: I really think that it might be this week that Liverpool gets a penalty and Steve G converts it.He is also on all set pieces duties and have a good match up.
Ben Arfa/ Cabaye: The French duo should shine against Hull City so i would really recommend one of them.
Ozil /Walcott : With everybody so no need to talk about them.
Oscar : Was Chelsea best player in their home loss against Basel,he will keep his place and love to shoot and can score goals.
Michu: Playing as a striker and listed as a midfielder with a really good match up,he got off the mark last week against Liverpool and can continue the Michu Streak of last season.
Sessengon : The new West Brom player will be playing against his former club and this makes it really interesting pick for this week.
Redmond : The Norwich winger should also be an interesting option this week and can score good points against Villa.
Strikers
Dani Sturridge : I have been saying all season that this guy is just amazing ! i even rate him more than Suarez and he is always in my team and he is red hot form.
Oliver Giroud : Same hot streak for the French striker and it might continue against Stoke City.
Papis Cisse : Where is the old Cisse that was firing goals from every angle,i really think he might get off the mark this week against Hull.
Fernando Torres: Oh yes that's you Fernando! i dont got a clue why he wasnt in the Squad for the Chelsea game yesterday but i think he should start against Fulham.
Lukaku: The big Belgian will make his debut for his new club against West Ham,he will get at least a couple of shots on targets and he might get you the winner as well.
That's it for the picks for this week,I am currently sitting 35 overall with a total points of 526 and hoping that i can sneak into the top 20 this week and progress in the Blog cup.
My current team is Cech/Terry/Debuchy/Sakho/Ozil/Walcott/Ben Arfa/Gerrard/Giroud/Cisse/Sturridge (c)
Good lucky to everyone.
Cheers,
Mo
