The Barn Door Live: Saturday Live Chat Week 22

I can't tell you how great it feels to wake up after a difficult work week and know that a full day of Premier League action is about to get underway. I'm sure you all feel the same, too, which makes it all the better.

We get underway this weekend with an intriguing match between an improved Sunderland side and a Southampton team that, despite their best intentions, will probably not be able to keep the turmoil of the administrative side of the club out of their minds.

Following the weekend opener are the matches likely representing the highest level of investment, as Arsenal host Fulham and Manchester City welcome Cardiff City before we close out the day with Liverpool taking on Aston Villa at Anfield.

As I mentioned in the Injuries & Suspensions post, I've made a few unorthodox choices this week with my team, and am very happy with how the squad looks:

Hart, Baines, Koscielny, Shawcross, Eriksen, Silva, Navas, Ozil, Hooper, Negredo, Suarez (c)

Bench: Oxlade-Chamberlain, Oviedo, Haidara, Davis

However, putting out this team does make me slightly nervous as I dropped Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard at discount, leaving Luis Suarez as my only Liverpool player in what should be a good match for attackers. Still, concerns over Sturridge's starting status and Gerrard's position on the pitch made me feel there might be better options elsewhere.

Who have you gone with for this week? Have you taken any risks, or played it safe? Have any match predictions? Let's chat!
