The Barn Door Live: Week 9 Fantasy Live Chat

Will week 9 be as entertaining as week 8? Surely we won't see another 8-goal victory, right? Let's get ready to find out as we follow all of Saturday's Premier League action!

If there's anything to be taken from the first quarter of the 2014/2015 Premier League season, it's that this truly is one of the most unpredictable competitions in the world. We've seen thumping victories, shocking defeats and everything in between in the opening 8 weeks of the campaign, and there are no signs of things slowing down any time soon.

We begin week 9 with the match between West Ham United and Manchester City, both of whom have been flying high this season. In seasons past, this would have gone down as a simple victory for the sky blues, but given Big Sam's overhaul of his team this summer and their current form, you wouldn't put it past them getting a result, or at the very least making the three points hard to come by for their foes.

Following the early game, we'll see if Southampton can continue their hot streak against Stoke City, if Liverpool can get back to scoring goals against Hull City, if Sunderland can avoid embarrassment for a second week running, and if West Brom can climb to the top half of the table against Crystal Palace. Finally, we'll see if Swansea can regain their form as they host Leicester City.

Who did you wind up with on your fantasy team this week? I went a bit unorthodox and dropped Diego Costa to bring in Christian Benteke up front. I'm hoping it won't come back to haunt me, but I won't be too upset if it doesn't work out given my poor form to start the season. I hope all of you are doing better, and will continue to do well this week. As always, good luck, and let's chat!
