With Chelsea, Newcastle and both Manchester clubs claiming victories yesterday, the chasing pack like Liverpool, Tottenham and even Southampton will be anxious to claim all three points in the remaining matches of week 12. Liverpool are off to a good start against Crystal Palace thanks to an early goal from Rickie Lambert and will be hoping not to repeat the capitulation that cost them the title the last time these teams met.

After the early match, Mauricio Pochettino's faltering Tottenham Hotspur side travel to take on Hull City at the KC Stadium, where they'll need a victory to keep the top four in their sights. The game week will finish up Monday evening with second-place Southampton taking on Aston Villa.

For fantasy purposes, Chelsea and Newcastle were the teams to load up on yesterday, and I'm kicking myself for dropping Tim Krul on Friday to bring in Asmir Begovic. That 22 point swing means I'm yet again on target for a sub-par gameweek with 66 points so far and Ryan Bertrand, Dusan Tadic and Ryan Mason still to play.
