With no early match to kick off the action this weekend, we'll jump right into the action with 12 teams facing off to get week 16 underway. On paper, Chelsea and Manchester City have the best match-ups, though given the shocking results we've seen on a weekly basis throughout this season, who knows?
There has been a lot of talk about missing Cesc Fabregas, and with Thibaut Courtois also out, could another shocking result bring City even closer to the top of the table? Or, conversely, will the Champions suffer without their star striker Sergio Aguero and suffer the same fate against Leicester City as their Manchester neighbors earlier in the season? Unlikely stories, both, but again...who knows?
We'll also see Sunderland host West Ham, West Bromwich Albion take on rivals Aston Villa, Crystal Palace attempt to record another win against Stoke City, and Southampton traveling to Burnley in hopes of ending their three-match losing streak before closing out today's action with what should be an enthralling encounter between Arsenal and high-flying Newcastle.
After an above average performance in Week 15, I'll be hoping to continue climbing the ranks this week. Here's my team:
Fraser Forster, Branislav Ivanovic, Martin Kelly, Aaron Cresswell, Dusan Tadic, Eden Hazard, Yaya Toure, Yannick Bolasie, Diego Costa, Edin Dzeko, Christian Benteke
How did your team turn out? Who do you think will come away with the victory today? Let's chat!
