With just 12 weeks left we are getting near the time where our private league and blog leagues battles will be decided. Whilst we will all pick the strongest side we can there should be room in your line ups to try someone a little different, a little alternative to go with the obvious Luis Suarez and co.
In goal
Ben Foster
You don't like the Fulham situation then Foster at a bargain price is the budget keeper this week.
Brad Guzan
Depends on your view. Based on results Newcastle are falling apart making Guzan the latest keeper who could pick up the win points, clean sheet, multi save monster. But there is the issue, Newcastle have been testing keepers and this is Aston Villa who can be excellent or woeful.
At the back
John Heitinga
At 3m even if you don't like the Fulham cleans sheet and who's does away from home, then he should return his value with PI and BS points
Craig Dawson
If you prefer that West Bromwich Albion will take advantage at the Fulham muddles then Dawson offers a possible clean sheet and goal threat from set pieces.
Davide Santon
At 13.44m Debuchy is the obvious pick (and many of you have him cheap) so Santon is expensive and backing a Newcastle clean as well isnt great. However he seems to have stolen kicks and Colocchini is back.
Middle for diddle
Chris Brunt
Is he alternative? well I doubt many will risk him at 15m. What if I told you his points run in the last 5 games are 10, 12, 12, 9 and 14? He may be on penalties as well so If you are looking to go against Silva or Yaya this week remember this is fantasy football, half the real life player can always outscore his better.
Thomas Ince
Manchester United have looked really poor in the last few weeks and will have one eye on their Champions League match with top four almost gone. Crystal Palace are flying at home and will cause Utd problems. Ince will be at the heart of it all.
Craig Noone
The flying wide man has probably been the best player for Cardiff City in recent weeks. This is
getting to the must win stage for Cardiff and the busy Noone may be a double figure points scorer this week.
Up top
Loic Remy
Newcastle United best player returns and pre Fifa World Cup 2014 is playing for his place in the French side. That should see a selfish surge in his play and the lad can shoot can't he. Villa defence won't get back to back clean sheets so who is the more likely scorer than our returning Remy?
Stevan Jovetic
With his performance in the FA cup tie and a midweek rest I like him to start and should I be correct I like him to score.
Frazier Campbell
Scorer in the cup last week he seems to be first choice for Cardiff. Once again it may be must win plus with hull not the same on their travels perhaps he can find the form of the home tie against Man City.
