The Barn Door Live: Week 25 Matchday Thread

Hello everybody and welcome to another installment of Premier League fixtures! We're about to get underway with what should be a cracking match between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield.

Even AJ's lost track of how many goals he's scored recently. Can he make it 5 in a row?

There are no surprises for either side in this one, as Liverpool remain unchanged from their draw against West Bromwich Albion in Week 24, while Arsenal draft in the fit-again Jack Wilshere to solidify the center of the pitch in place of Lukas Podolski.

If Liverpool can come away with a home win in this one, the title race opens wide yet again, especially if Chelsea can get a victory over Newcastle, which many of you seem to be banking on. I'm a bit nervous only having Oscar in my team, but am sticking with my gut feeling and taking some risks this week. Here's what I ended up with:

Artur Boruc, Ryan Bertrand, Pablo Armero, Joel Ward, Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Joe Ledley, Oscar, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Luis Suarez (c)

Bench: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Laurent Koscielny, Massadio Haidara, Gerhard Tremmel

As you can see, I'm taking a chance on a couple of the new boys in the league with Armero and Ledley, both of whom I am a big fan of. If one or both don't play, I'm happy with Ox and Koscielny coming off the bench to provide cover.

Who have you gone with this week? Have you switched the armband to someone other than Suarez? Good luck this week, and if you're still in the Blog Cup, I hope you make it to the next round!
