Week 35: player picks

Back to a much more interesting single game week. Lets look at a handful of possible picks for the coming round of games.

Luis feels the pressure of 90% of NMA placing the armband on him.

Chris Brunskill

Just the four rounds left and still everything is up for grabs in the Premier League.  Liverpool, Arsenal and Norwich have the title, Champions League survival and a place in the league in their own hands.

In our fantasy world its blog league, private league and globals positions we fight for and with that in mind lets take a look at this weeks player picks

Hugo Lloris

The price is right and home to Fulham should be a home win and yet we have been bitten before.  Spurs missing Vertonghen and Dawson make you less confident but he will make plenty of peoples sides and will free cash up. No Lewis Holtby in the Fulham side increases his value.

Petr Cech

Currently hold him at 16ish and surely has the safest clean sheet of the weekend.  Maybe Sunderland will be feeling better about themselves after scoring two at Manchester City but you cannot compare City and Chelsea when is comes to defence.  Sunderland need to win games and matched City for shots midweek so a few saves are possible.

Younes Kaboul

Safe starter and capable of decent or awful point return.  I'm remain unconvinced about him as a player but has the price/fixture balance.

Jordi Amat

Will start thanks to Chico's latest red.  Proven to be a good fantasy scorer and a nice alternative pick if you fancy Newcastle goal scoring slump to continue.

Winston Reid

Back in the West Ham starting lineup, decent point return player and this seems like a 0-0 type against Palace.

Any Chelsea defender

Should be a clean sheet AGAIN but the goal power of John Terry or Branislav Ivanovic make them the picks.

Aleksandar Kolarov

Gamble as he started midweek but City have a slim hope of the title so must win.  If Silva remains out he maybe on kicks.

Ryan Bertrand

Possible wing back role increases his value but really only a pick if paying 1m and freeing up funds.

Christian Eriksen

Bang in form and will start plus on corners and free kicks.  Certain double digit score but can he keep the goal run going?  At retail too expensive, those of you holding at 9m he is a steal.

Shinji Kagawa

Back in favour and playing as well as he has for the club.  Tough game but an alternative pick.

Arron Lennon

Not settled most of the season however signs in the last two games of the player he can be on his day.  You will know if he starts and a nice price.

Adam Lallana

The class of the saints team.  Doesn't always produce fantasy returns but this is Villa at home.  Has a place on the plane for the World Cup but playing for his starting place.

James Ward Prowse

Has pinched the set pieces from the captain, an alternative pick against awful Villa.

Stephen Ireland

Cardiff won't keep back to back clean sheets and Ireland has overtaken Charlie Adam in Hughes team selection.  A classic alternative pick and due a goal.

Jason Puncheon

On fire, can't keep scoring but ON FIRE

Miles Jedinak

When I pick him he fouls everyone and gets booked, when I don't he scores 17 and 12 back to back.  Should be plenty of PI and TW against a West Ham side who do not keep the ball well.

Mohamed Salah

Certain Chelsea starter and priced nice.

Samir Nasri

With Yaya out and David Silva struggling with injury Nasri is the star left of the City midfield.  Nice fixture and on corners.

Aaron Ramsey

Back in the gunners team and all action style suit the game.  Maybe a week too early and rehersal for the cup final will be a tight game but many will take a chance him.

Santi Cazorla

Always has a 20pt game in him.  Feels like there is one more before the season ends.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

I thought he was fantastic in the cup semi.  Playing in attacking areas and will start if Wenger has sense at Hull.  Perfect Value pick.

Steven Gerrard/Raheem Sterling/Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool are relentless and any could go big at sinking Norwich.  Those holding Gerrard at 15 are laughing!

Juan Mata

Certain start and may now be on all kicks.  Injury has forced David Moyes to play him in his bets role and shining because of that, however tough fixture.

Peter Odemwingie

Cardiff have no defence and Peter has the pace to make them pay.  Takes some courage to pick him away from home but Cardiff have to win, so possible high line defence could give him chances.

Demba Ba

On form but may lack Jose Mourinho's faith to start in Madrid.  If so he starts with a plum fixture.  Only concern is Jose saying Samuel Eto'o suits playing at home more.  Logic Ba says he plays next two league games Eto'o the Champions League?

Adebayor/Kane

If you hold Kane at 2m its a no brainer, if not either may tempt.

Andy Carroll

Ball playing teams can't seem to beat Crystal Palace so how about a team that can play them at their own game? Big andy also is playing for his place on the World Cup plane.

Romelu Lukaku

You know how the guy works.  Against the minnows he flops then when he plays tough on paper BOOM, and a Utd fan I fancy a Lukaku goal on Sunday.

Luis Suarez

Playing Norwich, didn't score last week ummmmmm CAPTAIN?

Kun Aguero

Coming back from injury he has been eased into the side.  May not play 90 minutes but WBA will give him chances galore.  Hard to tell how City replay to the Sunderland mess but maybe can outscore Suarez this week.

As it stand in 7th globally and delighted to be there.  Maybe just maybe I can make a late charge for the title but I'd need 4 perfect weeks.  My BD team is

Cech, Kompany, Kaboul, Baines, Lennon, Puncheon, Salah, Lallana, Kun, Ba and Suarez

I haven't worked on it yet and as per every week it will change.  Who are your must have picks and where is the hidden value?
