A Super Sunday ahead

Morning, afternoon and evening all.

Even though the sun is shining which is not common in the UK late September the promise of a trademark Stall Roast has convinced Mrs Stall and Stall Junior to let me watch both games today!

Assuming the promise isn't broken (most likely by little Stall) I should get to see a pair of evenly matched games.

Leicester City v Manchester United

Player for player is should be a couple goal away win but in reality this looks a cup tie type game to me.  A well settled and well drilled Leicester play with the spirit of their manager and have already given Everton and Arsenal tough workouts in a pair of draws this season.  Add to that they have been the most competitive team against league leader Chelsea oplus won at SToke City last time out and we have a fully confident home side.

Utd looked much better against Queens Park Rangers but who doesn't at the moment.  Utd's first test with the new signings has the look of one they will need to score two or three to win it.  Should they need any motivation an away win will take them above Liverpool in the table (I can hear you swearing out there).

Manchester City v Chelsea

Seem crazy to me but much of the talk is of this being a must win game for City.  Chelsea have been the best team so far and much to the delight of their fans played the best football so far.

Last Season Chelsea did the double over City and will come here believing they have their number.  Diego Costa is the current star in the league with 7 goals in 4 games and as a player not owning him I'm hoping Kompany and Co calm him down today.

The team news will be interesting.  You have to like Kun to come back into the City starting 11 against the lack of pace of John Terry and Gary Cahill.  The name nobody has that may have a part to play is one Yaya Toure.  Having looked a shadow of last seasons monster I'd start him behind Kun in the role he is best suited to rather than the deeper role he has been given so far this season.

Had a better day myself yesterday with 47 pts from 4 players.  Lloris, Kabul, Stones, Kevin M, Cesc, Rooney and K2 al to play I'm hoping to get back in the ton plus club by 6pm.
