Premier League Injuries & Suspensions Week 10

A look at which players may be missing from your potential fantasy line-ups due to suspension, injury or rotation and returning players who may make an impact.

Back in the team perhaps but back in the goals?

Out: Fantasy-relevant players who have been confirmed out for the week, either through injury or suspension

Doubt: Players facing the dreaded fitness test, rotation concerns and those who are out of form/favor

In: The likeliest replacements for the Outs & Doubts

Win: Fantasy player to watch / my hunch pick of the week

__________________________________________________________________________________

Arsenal

Out: Tomas Rosicky, Danny WelbeckJack Wilshere. Aaron Ramsey

Doubt: Arteta, Flamini,

In: Oxlade-Chamberlain

Win: Santi Cazorla

His performances have been consistent and yet the Gunners midfield marvel has yet to score this season.  I have been lucky enough to catch a number of his monster games over the seasons and my gut says this is the week.

Aston Villa

Out: Gabby Agbonlahor, Ciaran Clark, Jose Okore,

Doubt:

In: Crespo

Win: Brad Guzan

Villa are in horrible form but so are opponents Swansea.  0-0 anyone? _____________________________________________________________________________________________

AFC Bournemouth

Out: Harry Arter, Max Gradel, Tyrone Mings, Callum Wilson, Tommy Elphick

Doubt: Artur Boruc

In: N/A

Win: Simon Francis

Francis is the last man standing to some degree.  A consistent fantasy performer he should return value with attacking points as there is no winger to mark playing for Spurs.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Chelsea

Out: Branislav Ivanovic, Thibaut Courtois, Pedro, Loic Remy

Doubt: John Terry, Baba Rahman, Eden Hazard (rotation)

In: Eden Hazard

Win: Cesc Fabregas

Cesc like all of his teammates has been playing as if there is something wrong all season.  The assist king is unlikely to make many teams but in the hope the champions find some kind of form we will take a stab Cesc is behind it.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Crystal Palace

Out: Chamakh, Conor Wickham, Dwight Gayle

Doubt: Brede Hangeland (rotation), Bakary Sako (rotation)

In:

Win: Yohan Cabaye

Those lucky few holding him at 5m in Fantrax have themselves a season keeper.  Those like me who don't will hope the opposition stop giving him pens at least.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Everton

Out: Leighton Baines, , Tony Hibbert,

Doubt: Tom Cleverley, Steven Pienaar

In: Kevin Mirallas (maybe)

Win: Ross Barkley

Young Barkley has shown signs of the 2012/13 form so far. Against a Gunners system that doesn't crowd the midfield spaces Barkley enjoys we may see him shine again.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Leicester City

Out: Matty Jame, Ulloa

Doubt: Christian Fuchs, Ritchie De Laet

In: Nathan Dyer, Jeffrey Schlupp, Riyad Mahrez

Win: Riyad Mahrez

After back to back bench spots I expect the early week hotshot to return.  Opponents Palace like to attack and it could be a classic EPL end to end match.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Liverpool

Out: Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, Danny Ings,

Doubt: Dejan Lovren,  Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge

In: Adam Lallana, Jordon Ibe, Christian Benteke,

Win: Phillip Coutinho

No one shoot more and while there is some doubt over his fitness (we may not see 90 minutes) he is due a goal.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Manchester City

Out: Gael Clichy, Fabian Delph, Sergio Agüero, David Silva,

Doubt:

In: Aleksander Kolarov

Win: Kevin de Bruyne

Bang in form and racking up the phantom points

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Manchester United

Out: Patrick McNair, Ashley Young, Luke Shaw

Doubt: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata

In: Lingard

Win: Wayne Rooney

I don't think the captain has been in a worst period of form in his EPL career than right now.  But this looks a game between two sides that cannot defend and with Juan Mata and Memphis Depay perhaps dropped, Rooney takes pen and free kick duty.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Newcastle

Out: Rolando Aarons, Gabriel Obertan, Steven Taylor, Tim Krul

Doubt: Kevin Mbabu

In:

Win: Georginio Wijnaldum

After 4 goals last time he must be the pick if you must go Newcastle this week.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Norwich City

Out: Youssuf Mulumbu, Gary Hooper

Doubt: Cameron Jerome

In:

Win: Nathan Redmond

Redmond was a bright spark last time.  While he is always a bench risk he surely starts this one.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Southampton

Out: Fraser Forster, Florin Gardos, Shane Long

Doubt: Skelelenburg

In: Jordy Clasie,

Win: Sadio Mane

We saw at Chelsea just how effective mane is against aggressive defences.  Liverpool will press and can you really see back to back clean sheets for them?

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Stoke City

Out: Ryan Shawcross, Shay Given, Mame Biram Diouf

Doubt: Jonathan Walters

In: Mame Biram Diouf

Win: Xherdan Shaqiri

Shaqiri has yet to sparkle in a Stokie shirt.  I like his chances this week.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Sunderland

Out: Matthews

Doubt: Ola Toivonen, Younes Kaboul, Jack Rodwell

In: Jeremain Lens

Win: Yann M'Vila

Sunderland always beat Newcastle right?  Its Big Sams home debut and new manager's win those games right?  M'villa has been an under the radar phantom king so far.  I picked him up on the BD cheap and may give him a shot.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Swansea City

Out: N/A

Doubt: Angel Rangel , Siggy,  Routledge

In:

Win: Fabianski

Nil nil.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Tottenham Hotspur

Out: Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason, Son Heung-Min,

Doubt: N/A

In: Eric Dier

Win: Harry Kane

Poor Harry is having second season issues.  What better way to help than an injury hit cherries side.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Watford FC

Out: Jurado

Doubt: Ikechi Anya, Valon Behrami, Allan Nyom

In: Juan Carlos Paredes   Alessandro Diamanti

Win: Heurelho Gomes

In a match where they will face an confident attacking side Gomes can rack up the saves for you.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

West Bromwich Albion

Out: Ben Foster

Doubt: Jonny Evans, James Morrison,

In: N/A

Win: Saido Berahino,

Saido is back in the 1st team after saying he would never play for WBA again.  He is also back in the goals and Norwich gave 6 of them up last time out.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

West Ham United

Out: Andy O'Brien, Alexandre Song

Doubt: Andy Carroll, Winston Reid, Enner Valencia

In: Angelo Ogbonna,

Win: Dimitri Payet

Again those of you holding a 5m in Fantrax have a season keeper.  The man is so consistent.
