Fantasy Premier League player of the week: Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane

The forward is our Fantasy Player of the Week following his hat-trick against Bournemouth. Check out all the highlights from his excellent performance!

Last year's breakout star has accumulated his fair share of doubters given his failure to continue scoring goals at the breakneck pace he was putting them away last season, but Harry Kane came back with a vengeance in Week 10 with a hat-trick against AFC Bournemouth.

The Tottenham Hotspur and England striker earned a penalty and put the spot kick away himself to level the score in the first half after a first-minute strike from Matt Ritchie had given the Cherries an early lead. It was all uphill for Spurs from there, as they finished the match 5-1, with a further two goals from Kane and additional scoring contributions from Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela.

For those fantasy managers who placed their faith in Kane this week, the reward was handsome, though there were far more who went with the "safe" play in Christian Eriksen (Luckily, I managed to pick both on Fantrax, but went with the wrong option in both Perfect XI and Official FPL).

Does this performance represent a turning point in Kane's season, or is the leaky defense from Bournemouth bad enough to put it down as a one-off? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
