After a pretty unsatisfactory Tuesday from both a Futbol fan and a DFS perspective, Wednesday Champions League was equally as lucrative and enjoyable. Arsenal fans are shaking their heads in disbelief and Sandro's Restaurant in NYC are all still celebrating the late Roma winner.

Here are the players we're looking at to succeed in DraftKings this weekend:

Goalkeepers

David De Gea (Manchester United, $4,000) - It's been a rough month for Man United but after a resounding late winner midweek in the Champions League, we look for De Gea to put in the necessary work to get the win and clean sheet.

Joe Hart (Manchester City, $3,900) - Man City have been firing on all cylinders and a short trip to relegation likely side Villa shouldn't prove to be more than a formality. Spend up and pair with Otamendi.

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City, $3,700) - Leicester is at home to Watford. Watford is the lowest scoring EPL team this year. Ighalo, Watfords top striker, is doubtful which makes Schmeichel one of the more intriguing matchups of the morning.

Other options to consider: Maarten Stekelenburg (Southampton, $3,700), Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City, $3,100)

Defenders

Marcos Rojo (Manchester United, $3,000) - Since Van Gaal has moved Rojo to the left back position replacing the injured Shaw, he has been nothing short of spectacular. He's a lock for double-digit crosses each match, and maybe a couple shots on goal. He's good for tackles, drawing fouls, crosses, and maybe even an assist or two.

Cedric Soares (Southampton, $3,200) - If you've been playing DFS soccer, you should know all about who Cedric is. Southampton's offensively skilled left back always surging down the left flank of the field throwing in ample amounts of crosses, getting interceptions as well. His partner on the right, Ryan Bertrand, is always a good play as well. Sunderland are at the bottom of the table and Southampton will be holding possession of the ball looking to swing it into Pelle.

Kyle Naughton (Swansea City, $3,100) - Lets try this again. We seem to always give Kyle a shout-out and he has yet to reward us. However, he has a very favorable matchup going into Norwich. They have conceded the most amount of goals in the Prem this year. Swansea will be looking to hold on to the ball and attack the sides swinging in balls to Gomis and company.

Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City, $2,900) - Here's a nice GPP value play for you. Otamendi pounded in a header last week domestically. He's got another great matchup this week against villa. Pellegrini could give him a rest this weekend due to Champions League play but we love Otamendi to fill up the stats at CB.

Other options to consider: Carl Jenkinson (West Ham United, $3,300), Virgil van Dijk (Southampton, $2,600), Alberto Moreno (Liverpool $3,800).

Midfielders

Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City, $7,400) - One of the most underrated and dynamic midfielders in the premier league. He does it all shots on target, crosses, and all the other things that don't appear on the stat sheet.

Sadio Mane (Southampton, $6,900) - Sadio Mane is the engine behind the Southampton offense. With his endless motor and work rate, he's all over the place trying to get the ball up the pitch. Southampton have scored 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches. Look for Mane to be apart of action.

Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool, $6,500) - The little magician is back. Klopp has Anfield feeling the excitement in every limb and corner, the Red's are playing as inspired as any team on the planet, Coutinho is very streaky so ride this while it's gloriously around.

Jefferson Montero (Swansea City, $4,800) - Another DFS mainstay by now, Jefferson has been a nightmare for defenders on every pitch he plays in. Jefferson is not only a player with a highly offensive upside, but he also benefits from the new scoring changes and could easily drop 20.

Other options to consider: Willian (Chelsea, $5,000), Andre Ayew (Swansea City, $5,600), Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur, $6,400), Xherdan Shaqiri (Stoke City, $4,600)

Forwards

Jamie Vardy (Leicester City, $7,200) - Vardy will be a benefactor of not having to partake in European matches midweek, look for Leicester to keep up their incredible pace at home as they face lowly, yes lowly, Watford at home. Vardy will score.

Wayne Rooney (Manchester United, $6,800) - Wayne scored a stunning match winner midweek and will look to carry that momentum into the weekend matchup with West Brom. The captain has always been streaky and now would make sense for him to suddenly turn-up against a shaky West Brom back four.

Bafetimbi Gomis (Swansea City $6,000) - Norwich can't stop a vegetarian from stealing the hamburgers right now. Gomis was scorching hot to start the season and we believe he will get back on track this week against a joke of a Norwich defense.

Other options to consider: Bojan (Stoke City, $6,900), Jeremain Lens (Sunderland $5,000), Arouna Kone (Everton $4,300)

Utility

Salomón Rondón (West Brom, $4,300) - For those who don't watch West Brom or the Prem, Rondon is a monster in the air and we know Uniteds's center backs are weak and undersized, especially w blind starting. Look for the standard Pulis game plan throwing in crosses to his massive striker, hopefully he converts.

Charlie Adam (Stoke City, $3,600) - Midfielder for Stoke. Charlie has been around the block and back. Were taking it back to flash-back Friday when Charlie hit a post off a shot from midfield at Stamford bridge last season. We're feeling another Adam spectacle. Gpp special of course.

Sample Lineup

GK: Schmeichel

DF: Rojo, Soares, Van Dijk

MF: Mane, Ayew, Montero

FW: Vardy, Gomis
