News has broke today that West Ham United's sensational early season playmaker Dimitri Payet has suffered an ankle injury and may miss the next 3 months!!!
Payet was injured in a challenge by James Mccarthy in the 1-1 draw with Everton at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon.
After his summer move to the Hammersv the frenchman had been a star this season. 5 goals and 3 assist in 12 games is good for any midfield player in any season. On debut though it is extremely impressive, as was his all round game to go with the glamour stats.
At 5m in Fantrax he was a season keeper and replacing him will be a problem. At the same price bracket we have options though.
Son Heung-Min 5,083
Emre Can 4,862
Victor Moses 4,208
Adam Johnson 4,004
Stephane Sessegnon 2,981
Jesse Lingard 2,006
And when fit
Kevin Mirallas 4,827
Jordan Henderson 4,887
Son will start the next spurs game with Erik Lamela suspended. Moses catches the eye with his fantasy returns last season. AJ is a good although inconsistent scorer. Sessegnon caught Santi's eye over the weekend and of course Lingard is the flavour of the moment.
For Payet owners like me it's a sad day my friends, a sad sad day. Who do you think is the best bet to replace him in your lineups?
