Week 15 Fantasy EPL Pre-Deadline Chat

Time to make those last-minute team decisions. Ask your questions and share your plans for this weekend in the Premier League.

Will either Arsenal reserve impress as a starter this weekend? Will you pick either?

Greetings from Cambodia! As the bewitching deadline hour approaches, we each have questions to ponder as we finalize our roster decisions. This week is no different and I will offer my own considerations into the thought provoking process.

Arsenal have what might appear to be a tasty opportunity at the Emirates against the visiting Black Cats of Sunderland. Sunderland have enjoyed a surprising 2 consecutive shutouts and Arsenal's roster has been a bit decimated with the losses of Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and the possible injury doubt of Laurent Koscielny. Are the reduced salary options Joel Campbell and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain worth considering for a roster spot? Can the new lineup effectively attack Sunderland?

Leicester City have been the surprise of the Premiership this season and the record setting Mr. Jamie Vardy has been a huge part of their success. Leicester are headed into a brutal part of their schedule. Are he and his fantasy favorite teammate, Riyad Mahrez, still worthy or roster spots or might there be better ways to spend one's fantasy dollars?

Thibaut Courtois Is back from his injury and will be a huge part of Chelsea's efforts to maneuver back toward a Champion's League berth. He is bargain priced, of course, at 4.330. Might it be time to add him as a potential season keeper (no pun intended). And there are a lot of potentially solid keeper selections available, with perhaps the pricy Petr Cech the best option among them.

In other news, Wayne Rooney is to miss the West Ham match, John Terry has been ruled out vs Bournemouth and Jose Fonte has been determined a fitness doubt. Apparently, bad boy Diego Costa has stepped things up in training. Philippe Coutinho appears to still be struggling with injury for Liverpool, but will he see any time on pitch this weekend?

My Fantrax team, at the moment, is Courtois, Otamendi, Bertrand, Ivanovic, Ozil, Hazard, Barkley, DeBruyne, Costa, Lukaku, Firmino. And, yes, I like it, although heavy on an underachieving Chelsea.

For the official game, I have Butland, Kolarov, Skrtel, Darmian, Bellerin, Cabaye, Mahrez, Barkley, DeBruyne, Kane, Ighalo (I have Sanchez on the bench and have made no transfers yet, a lot of salary to stash, though).

So anyway, what are your thoughts heading forward this week? Any questions about your lineup? I will be around for a bit, although I am here in Cambodia and there is a 12 hour time zone difference rom my usual EDT. anyway, cheers to all and best wishes with your selections!
