After a weak week 1 (you probably thought that was a typo at first) of MLS is the scoring sense, the league NEEDS goals. The 0-0 draws or 1-0 wins just don't appeal to the American public, and anyone that isn't a soccer fan that tuned in for the beginning of the Orlando v. NYCFC game probably quit watching after the first half. Low scoring tactical games just aren't cut out for the fast-paced, up tempo, you have to score now to get my attention, average American. If MLS wants to use the World Cup and CBA Negotiation hype train, than they need games that are on ESPN and FOX Sports to be high scoring and exciting.
As Gavin said last Live Chat, soccer is gaining momentum here. In grade schools, kids recognize the brand MLS and the players better than the MLB (Major League Baseball) and it's players, meaning in the young population, soccer finally has reached a top 3 sports spot. That is big, especially being Baseball is known as "the American pastime". I keep saying this, but MLS needs scoring now, and I expect us to get whats needed. Here are the fixtures.

Houston Dynamo vs. Orlando City SC
