Will both Kaka and Ribeiro be good bets against DC, or will one dramatically outscore the other?

With all of  the arbitrary bye weeks we've experienced and will continue to experience this MLS season, the matches will inevitably need to be made up on a fairly regular basis, and we'll begin seeing a number of double weeks for particular teams beginning in Week 6.

Unfortunately in terms of the variety in team selection we'll see as a result of it, only the Vancouver Whitecaps and Columbus Crew SC will play twice next. On the flip side, that should make it a lot easier for us to predict where the highest fantasy returns will come from in the next round.

One important note is that due to the need for double weeks, we will begin to see Wednesday as the beginning of MLS Fantasy weeks, kicking off next week with the match between Vancouver and Columbus.

We'll have player picks available on Monday to help facilitate discussion between everyone on their team selections, so remember to check back in for the next round of recommendations right after game week 5 comes to a close.

Speaking of Week 5, we're all set for kick off. Here's the list of fixtures:

Orlando City v. D.C. United
Chicago Fire v. Toronto FC
Colorado Rapids v. New England Revolution
Vancouver Whitecaps v. LA Galaxy
Seattle Sounders v. Houston Dynamo
Portland Timbers v. FC Dallas
San Jose Earthquakes v. Real Salt Lake
Sporting Kansas City v. Philadelphia Union

Tonight's early match between Orlando and DC United can be viewed on UniMas in the United States at 7p.m. EST, or on MLS Live if you have a subscription. The other televised games will be on Sunday, with SJ and RSL playing at 5 p.m. on ESPN2 and SKC playing the Union at 7 p.m. on FoxSports1.

I haven't changed my team from earlier in the week, so as things stand I'm currently on the following:

Joe Bendik
Alvas Powell, Ike Opara, Moises Hernandez
Rodney Wallace, Matias Perez Garcia, Benny Feilhaber, Pedro Ribeiro
Fanendo Adi, Jozy Altidore, Octavio Rivero

Bench: Fatai Alashe, Sam Adekugbe, Hernan Grana, David Bingham

There may be a few last-minute changes, but I'm pretty sure this is where things will stand come the deadline.

Who did you choose for your team this week? As always, good luck and let's chat!
