Week 37 Outs, Doubts, Ins and Wins

Double trouble once more as we look ahead to the weekends team news.

Is he the hidden value this week?

It's the last double week of the season and really only a handful of players form sides other than the Gunner and Black Cats matter.

Arsenal

Out:   Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mathieu Debuchy

Doubt:  Aaron Ramsey, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere

In:  Wilshere or Theo Walcott

Win:

Most our investment will come from the Gunners this week at they take a trip to Old Trafford and then host Sunderland.  Arsenal sit 3 points behind Man City with a game in hand but a worse goal difference.  Meanwhile Man Utd sit 4 points behind in 4th.

In goal David Ospina seem safe and a decent price at £9.12m

Hector Bellerin £9m, Per Mertesacker £9.36m, Laurent Konscienly £11.65m, Nacho Monreal £11.72m have established themselves as Arsenals first choice back four.  As long as the battle for second continues them seem likely to start both games barring injury.

By now you nearly all have Alexis Sanchez and with news that Danny Welbeck isn't ready Olivier Giroud appeals.  There remains the chance he gets a rest in one of these games with Theo Walcott perhaps getting a start.  Theo could also start in a support role with Aaron Ramsey still having his struggles.   Jack Wilshire's cameos may have earned him one start.

Santi Cazorla, Mesut Ozil both seem likely to place twice.

Aston Villa

Out: Nathan Baker,

Doubt: Joe Cole,

In:

Win:  Jores Okore

If you hold Okore at 1m he is a filler option

____________________________________

Burnley

Out:

Doubt: Sam Vokes

In:

Win: Kieran Trippier

Gold fantasy player and one who surely will be back in the EPL next season

____________________________________

Chelsea

Out: N/A

Doubt: Petr Cech, Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard, Willian

In:  Juan Cuadrado

Win:

Jose seems likely to give many stars the week off here before the last day party next week.  Even if you hold Cesc at 5m I can recommend benching or letting go this week.

The pick is Juan Cuadrado to do well when we don't have him,

Crystal Palace

Out: N/A

Doubt: N/A

In: Glenn Murray, Marouane Chamakh,

Win:

Tough trip to Anfield.  You know I'm saying my man Bolasie once more.

____________________________________

Everton

Out: Tony Hibbert, Leighton Baines

Doubt:

In:

Win: Garbutt

Young Luke Garbutt is 1m so if you let Cresswell or Okore go at that price here is an easy replacement.

____________________________________

Hull City

Out: Mohamed Diame, Robert Snodgrass, Andrew Robertson,

Doubt:

In:

Win:

Is the trip to Spurs the easier matchup than next week's high pressure game?  Spurs have a habit of struggling against strugglers at home.

I'm picking Tom Huddlestone against his old club.

____________________________________

Leicester City

Out:    Matty James

Doubt: David Nugent

In:

Win:

Tempted to keep Kasper Schmeichel?  Well he holds a role in the league's form side.  Leicester need something here but I don't see a clean sheet.  However at 1m he is hard to drop.

____________________________________

Liverpool

Out: Jon Flanagan, Glen Johnson, Daniel Sturridge, Joe Allan.

Doubt:

In:

Win:

Steven Gerrard has been one of the very best EPL players we have seen.  He will leave a hole in the Liverpool side and dressing room that they will find very hard to replace.  It's only right he scores one more before he sets off to the MLS.

____________________________________

Manchester City

Out: Samir Nasri

Doubt:   Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure

In:

Win:

One win

The league's best player is up for debate.  The league's best forward 2014/15 is not.  Even in a double week Kun can destroy all in front of him.

____________________________________

Manchester United

Out:   Marcos Rojo, Nani, Michael Carrick, Luke Shaw, Wayne Rooney,

Doubt:

In: Angel Di Maria

Win:

Utd are limping to the end of the season and face an Arsenal side 12-18 months further ahead in development.  They were the far better side in both meetings this season and have less injuries.  Utd will need to raise themselves to get points in this one.  I will take a stab at Juan Mata as my Gunners mate says he is the Utd player he always fears playing (more from his Chelsea days).

____________________________________

Newcastle

Out: Rolando Aarons,  Gabriel Obertan,, Chiote Tiote,  David Stanton, Steven Taylor, Siem De Jong,

Doubt: Anita

In: N/A

Win:

They still have the best looking fixtures of the relegation sides.  QPR are down but will have a go so Tim Krul needs a big game.

____________________________________

Queens Park Rangers

Out: Alejandro Faurlin, Rio Ferdinand,

Doubt:

In:

Win:

Charlie Austin will be back in the EPL next season and I tip him to score at least once this weekend.

____________________________________

Southampton

Out: Jay Rodriguez, Jack Cork,  Fraser Forster, Dusan Tadic,

Doubt:  Shane Long

In:

Win:

The season's surprise package will want to end on a high but face a bubbling Villa side.  News that Jayrod has signed a new deal and Clyne may also should see positive crowd results.  I like the saints in this one and for 1m you can have their starting keeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

____________________________________

Stoke City

Out:  Victor Moses, Bojan Krkic,

Doubt: Steven Ireland, Peter Odemwingie, Ryan Shawcross

In:

Win:

Mark Hughes has done a fantastic job again and soon may be at the thoughts for bigger jobs.  I don't like them in this one but Charlie Adam has been of old in the last few games.

____________________________________

Sunderland

Out:  Jack Rodwell, Jordi Gomez, Wes Brown

Doubt:

In: John O'Shea, Liam Bridcutt

Win:

Pantilimon is safe in goal and a good bet if you picked him up on the barn door.

Patrick Van Aanholt was a great fantasy pick but under the new manager his point's totals have dropped off.  He still remains the best Sunderland pick for me I think he can go 15pt plus this week.

In midfield your choice is pretty much limited to Sebastian Larsson (free kicks) now that Jordi Gomez has been ruled out for the season with a fractured kneecap.  Adam Johnson would normally be a must but with his personal issues he seems likely for two games but both from the bench.

Jermain Defoe, Connor Wickham and Danny Graham had their shape changed mid game last week with Wickham playing the tip of the diamond role behind the other two. Wickham seems the phantom point pick and has a habit of scoring late in season/high pressure games. Defoe is bar far the best finisher and despite clean sheets Leicester keep giving up shots on goal.

Swansea City

Out:

Doubt:

In: Bafetimbi Gomis

Win:

Siggy, always

____________________________________

Tottenham

Out: Kyle Walker,

Doubt:

In:

Win:

Harry Kane is my tip for the single player who outscores/match the doubles.  I like a 20-30 point game in this one but I lack the you know what's to pick him.

____________________________________

West Bromwich Albion

Out: Ben Foster, Dorrans

Doubt:

In:

Win:

Safe and facing a Chelsea side missing some names.  They will still find this tough but I will say someone from the defence is the pick

____________________________________

West Ham United

Out: Modibo Maiga, Diafra Sahko, Andy Carroll

Doubt:

In:

Win:

They have been the holiday side for a few weeks.  If you have Aaron Cresswell at 1m he is the pick after a fantastic first EPL season.
