Looking back at Week 7: How did you score in FPL?

This was a redemption week for star fantasy players who have under performed earlier in the season...

The likes of Alexis Sanchez, Daniel Sturridge and Harry Kane "got off the schneid" this Game Week, with Alexis, in particular, scoring 3 goals against the hapless Leicester City defense.  Manchester United impressed, not so much by how well they played, but by convincingly beating the bottom of the table Sunderland team,  as these types of games the Red Devils struggled with for the past few seasons.  The other Manchester team, however, was handed another loss, its second EPL loss in a row.  Unlucky, no doubt, but there is cause for concern.  Another interesting trend to take note of is the emergence of two fantasy defenders who scored impressive phantom points without clean sheets/goals/assists: Ritchie De Laet (Leicester City) and Winston Reid (West Ham United).

My Fantrax team scored 151 points (with Alexis Sanchez and Daniel Sturridge leading the way), good enough to currently put me in the 20th place in Beat the Bloggers League.  My Official BPL team is currently on 70 points (thanks to Alexis Sanchez (c)) with Craig Dawson to go.  I also won money in all the Draft Kings contests I entered on Saturday, so it has been a good fantasy week for yours truly.

How did you score this week?
