Bournemouth fans will be well aware of the talents of Lewis Grabban, having already played for the club from 2012-2014. Grabban helped the Cherries leap from League One to the Championship, scoring 35 goals in 86 appearances. Having re-signed for the club from Norwich City, the striker joins a Bournemouth side in desperate need of firepower. Grabban will be looking to establish himself in an injury ravaged forward line.

How will Grabban integrate into the Bournemouth squad?

Having a previous history with the club, Grabban should find opportunities under manager Eddie Howe, as evidence of his inclusion from the bench in Bournemouth's recent 3-1 loss to West Ham. Grabban has found a starting role a bit elusive in his recent appearances, so nailing down a starting birth will be a top priority to help Bournemouth stay in the top flight. With Callum Wilson sidelined since the early part of the season, the door is open for the new striker.

What fantasy impact will Grabban have for your squad?

Lewis Grabban will face competition from Benik Afobe, Joshua King and Glen Murray, as Eddie Howe has preferred a lone striker formation in a 1-5-4 set up. Afobe was selected to start for the home loss to West Ham, but the former Cherries striker came on as a direct second half replacement in the 72nd minute. It will be crucial to see which for-mentioned striker Eddie Howe prefers, but from a real world stand point, competition can often bring out the best in players. Fantasy wise, it may be a wait and see strategy until one player shows consistency in front of goal. Needless to say, Afobe and Grabban should be the preferred first and second strikers in the squad.

Cheers,
