When we were looking at the fixture list for Week 22, the match up between Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland was one of our favorites for fantasy investment, with multiple members of our staff making mention of Spurs' fantasy value on both sides of the ball. Cue our shock and disappointment when Mauricio Pochettino's men went into the tunnel at halftime trailing 1-0 to a Patrick van Aanholt special.

Thankfully for fantasy managers who bought into the pre-match hype, Tottenham figured things out quickly and turned the deficit into a 4-1 victory. Christian Eriksen was at the heart of the comeback, finishing a sublime first-time volley (despite Lee Cattermole's best efforts) to equalize after Harry Kane's initial shot was parried away by Jordan Pickford.

Eriksen bagged his brace to make it 3-1 with a long-range effort that deflected off the hapless Jan Kirchhoff and into the upper 90 of Pickford's goal, and while both goals were fortunate to find the back of the net, Eriksen reminded everyone what he is capable of when he's at his best. Here are the highlights, including both of Eriksen's goals:

Tottenham have a favorable run of fixtures coming up, so investing seems a wise decision. Is the match against Sunderland evidence that Eriksen is back to being a fantasy favorite, or was it a flash-in-the-pan in an otherwise subpar season for the Dane? Will you be bringing the midfielder in to your squad or, if you already had him, will you be hanging on?
