Happy New Year to everyone! We hope that you have enjoyed your holidays and are all ready to start off the first Premier League Match Day of 2016 with some fantastic matches and great storylines around the English league.

To start off with the early match and first one of the new year, can Liverpool get another win and get to a good start to 2016 with a win against Watford? Can Arsenal continue their fine form with an in-form Mesut Özil against Newcastle United?

Alongside the Gunners we find surprising side Leicester City top of table but level on points meaning anything less than three points for one side might turn out to be the advantage for another should they the win. The Foxes take on AFC Bournemouth, who recently have got Juan Manuel Iturbe on loan from AS Roma to help them stay in the Premier League.

Meanwhile in Manchester, United boss Louis van Gaal desperately need to get a win in the new year and month of January after failing to get a single win in the entire month of December. Doing so against Swansea City would release the pressure that he's already been in ever with pressure mounting on him getting sacked in the next few days or weeks.

And in the blue half, Manuel Pellegrini will have to beat a surprising Watford for their first win of 2016 after failing to get three points four days ago against Leicester.

My team is as follows: Hart; Dann, Kolarov, Ward, Clyne; Barkley, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Özil; Vardy, Lukaku.

What are your predictions for the matches? How was your New Year? As always, enjoy the matches, good luck to your teams and happy chatting to everyone!
