So, did you get the team you eventually wanted for the winter? Six games today in this midweek clash of Premier League games this week, so what is at stake today?
Norwich City will take on Tottenham Hotspur in an important match for Spurs if they want to continue their dreams of a top four finish. With players such as Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Harry Kane, it might be hard for the Canaries to get anything done there.
Arsenal, who made some business by getting Mohamed Elneny in the winter transfer window also seems to be the good replacement for Francis Coquelin, who is still out for the moment. Victory against the Saints would see them top of the table but it would have to depend on two other matches occurring at the same time.
The big one is Liverpool against Leicester City. The Foxes who are currently first in the Premier League table, three points above Manchester City and Arsenal. A match against Liverpool proves to be a test for Leicester if they want to continue their fairytale ride as Premier League champions in the next 15 games. Will Riyad Mahrez prove the difference alongside Jamie Vardy or will players such as Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke rain on Leicester’s parade?
Manchester City, who recently got their newest manager next season in Pep Guardiola, will see Manuel Pellegrini manage his 100th game for the club and a crucial match before their big weekend match against Leicester City. They take on Sunderland, who also made some business during the transfer window but everything will have to rely on Sergio Aguero.
West Ham United take on Aston Villa in another good matches if Villa want to get out of the relegation zone, but it's a tough test against the Hammers, who are currently sixth in the league.
The final match is Manchester United against Stoke City. Another match to just continue the pressure that Louis Van Gaal is getting week in and week out, but victory against Stoke would ease it out a bit.
My current fantasy squad:
Official: Cech, Clyne, Ward, Dann, Kolarov; Barkley, Ozil, Mahrez, Ramsey; Vardy, Aguero (C)
Best of luck for Week 24!
Cheers,
Roberto
