Well some major frustration was felt around the fantasy world on Saturday with the pain of injuries and rotation keeping key players on their respective benches. Many managers put in an extreme effort for scouting the best possible route through the multiple double fixtures. In the Official game, Everton and Crystal Palace were treated to an early double in Week 33. Those that saw an opportunity to cash in on Toffees players with 4 potential matches in two game weeks, were rudely deceived into selecting, among others, King Troll Lukaku who not only blanked in week 33, but also picked up a knock keeping him out of the first match for week 34.
Even more frustrating was Louie van Gaal's major team tinkering for what should have been a goal-fest against now relegated Aston Villa. Many of us did not expect Rooney to start after such a long injury lay off, and certainly not see Martial benched. But those worried that Rooney would eat away at Rashford's minutes and opted for the Frenchman, who had only missed 1 of 19 matches, were again cruelly let down as Rashford again won the points and the plaudits. In my case, I had even taken a -8pt hit to get in what I assumed would be two definite starters in Martial and Fosu-Mensah. But hey, that's the way fantasy goes right?
Onto the fixtures for Week 34 - Sunday:
