As we approach the end of April, a wild finish is in the books for the Premier League. Fairy tales are becoming realities and relegation battles are becoming fairy tales in itself. Of course, this is also a crucial time for a vast majority of players to be fit and ready for the upcoming European Championships in France or even the Copa America in the United States. Either way, we have some interesting stories happening this weekend on Saturday.
Can Manchester City prepare perfectly in time for their maiden UEFA Champions League semi final tie against Real Madrid, they face Stoke City in the first match of the day. We also have the already relegated Aston Villa taking on Southampton, Bournemouth taking on the defending champions Chelsea and finally, Liverpool facing Newcastle United, just five days after their UEFA Europa League tie against Villarreal
The games on Saturday are:
Manchester City-Stoke City
Bournemouth-Chelsea
Aston Villa-Southampton
Liverpool-Newcastle
My team is Schmeichel; Dann, Kolarov, Alderweireld, Clyne; Barkley, Payet, Mahrez, Alli, Aguero (c), Kane
I've decided to take out Mesut Ozil and Jamie Vardy, who is suspended and put in two Spurs players: Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
What's your team and what are you looking forward this weekend?
Let's chat!
