We will know the last 16 lineup after today's games and with only 8 teams being knocked out many teams strategy could be influenced by their need overall rather than the status of the game. I'm not sure that is a good thing but then again tell that to the Northern Ireland fans who were actually really happy at 1-0 down against Germany yesterday. Knowing that if it ended that way they would have a very good chance of progression they cheered their side to the result which ultimately has put them into the knockout round.
