Gameweek 1 of the 2016/17 season rounds off with a potential cracker on a Monday evening Chelsea v West Ham United
Chelsea have a new manager but will line up with mainly familiar names and it will be interesting to see Conte's formation and player selection. Eden Hazard is in many fantasy sides in both FPL and Fantrax. After an awful 2015/16 we saw glimpses of the Hazard from 2014/15 at the tail end of last season and into the Euro's. The expectation is that we will see this Hazard from the start this season.
For West Ham they come into the season after a brilliant 2015/16. Dimitri Payet is still at the club and they head into a new stadium. He remains the Hammer's superstar but has only just back from his holidays. Andy Carroll once again showed how much of a handful he can be late last season and will lead the line at Stamford Bridge. His battering ram style will cause Chelsea problems and of course Sam Allardyce's appointment as England manager will have given him a lift and a target to aim for. Injury to left back Aaron Cresswell is a big blow but the Hammers were a tough nut to crack under Slavni Bilic.
This looks a game where attack may overpower defence and that will make it a fun watch.
I've had a good Fantrax start and a not very good FPL start but have Hazard playing in both.
Have fun
